Privacy Policy

TV Tracker (“we”, “the app”) helps you track TV shows and movies. We do not provide streaming of copyrighted video.

Information we collect

• Account: email address; optional nickname; login via email OTP, Google, or Apple when you choose those methods.
• Watch data: watchlist, progress (episodes/movies watched), settings you save in the app.
• Device: data needed for push episode reminders (notifications), if you enable them.
• Technical: basic server logs (e.g. IP, timestamps) for security and reliability; crash diagnostics when Crashlytics is enabled.
• Product interaction: aggregated, non-identifying counts of in-app actions — such as completing sign-up, importing a list, or marking an episode watched — used only to see which parts of the app work and which do not. We do not use this for advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

How we use information

• Provide sync across devices when you are signed in.
• Send login / password-reset emails (transactional only).
• Send push notifications you opted into.
• Operate and secure the service.

Third-party services

• TMDB and TVMaze — show/movie metadata and images (via our servers where applicable).
• Email provider (Resend) — transactional mail.
• Google / Apple — only if you sign in with them.
• Firebase — Cloud Messaging (push), Crashlytics (crashes), and Analytics (product interaction, as described above), when enabled.

We do not sell your personal data.

Data retention & deletion

You can delete your account in the app (Profile → Settings), or follow the steps on our account deletion page. That removes your account and associated watch data from our servers, subject to short-term backups and legal requirements.
