Import your Letterboxd films
Letterboxd handles films beautifully and doesn't do television at all. If you watch both, importing your films here puts them in one library alongside your shows — with episode tracking and airing dates on the TV side.
Export from Letterboxd
- Open Letterboxd and go to Settings → Data → Export.

.zip. It contains CSVs includingwatchlist.csvanddiary.csv. -
Upload the ZIP as-is, or pick out a single
diary.csv/watchlist.csvif you only want part of it.
Import into TV Tracker
- Sign in on the web app or on your phone.
- Go to Settings → Import data.
- Choose Letterboxd, or leave Auto-detect on.
- Upload the file, review the matches, then Import selected.
This isn't a Letterboxd replacement and doesn't try to be. There are no reviews, no ratings, no lists and nobody to follow. Your Letterboxd account keeps all of that — importing here doesn't touch it. What you gain is television in the same place, which Letterboxd doesn't cover.

For the TV half of your watching, a Trakt export carries per-episode history. Importing both files is fine — the second one fills in what's missing rather than duplicating anything.
Common questions
Will my rewatches import correctly?
A film is either in your library as watched or not, so multiple diary entries for the same film collapse into one. There's no rewatch count.
Can I import just my watchlist and not my diary?
Yes — upload watchlist.csv on its own instead of the full
ZIP. That's the usual choice if you want a clean "still to watch" pile
without a decade of history.
